SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB

The Norwood Senior Citizens Club meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 1:00 PM at the Norwood Community Center, 453 Broadway.  When a legal holiday falls on Monday, the meeting will be held on the next day, Tuesday.  Refreshments are served after the meeting.  Guest speakers are invited to inform members of timely information.  Recent topics have been health issues, financial subjects, personal safety and government programs available to senior citizens.  Norwood residents aged 55 or over are welcome to join.  Annual dues are $12.

The Norwood Senior Citizen Club has been an active part of the community since 1969.  The Club donates to local organizations and schools.  For the 2007 holiday season, food and canned goods were collected for the Family Assistance Program of the National Guard Teaneck Armory.

Holiday events are usually celebrated with a luncheon at the Center.  the Club's Anniversary Dinner Dance in June and a Christmas Dinner Dance are held at local catering facilities.
