AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 115 AND 168 OF = THE CODE OF

THE BOROUGH OF NORWOOD ESTABLISHING SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM FEES

 

 

WHEREAS<= /span>, the purpose of this ordinance is to increase= the annual fees and establish a late fee for the summer recreation program in o= rder to better cover the costs of the program, which have risen since the fee was last established;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by = the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Norwood, County of Bergen, and State of= New Jersey, as follows:

Sec= tion 1:  The Code of the Borough of Norwood is amended so that §168-14(A)(2) shall state the following:

(2).  Summer recreation program:  $90 per child per year, with a $25= per child late fee if this fee is paid after the designated payment date for any year.              =    

Sec= tion 2:  Section 115-1 of the Code is deleted.

Sec= tion 3:  All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances that are inconsistent with the provision = of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, but only to the extent of such inconsis= tencies.

Sec= tion 4:  The provisions of this Ordinance are severable.  If any part of this Ordinance is declared to be unconstitutional or invalid by any Court, the remaining part= s of this Ordinance will remain in full force and effect.

Sec= tion 5:  This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication according to law.=
