An Ordinance Amending Chapter 222 the Code of

the Borough of Norwood<= /st1:place> Regulating Vehicles and Traffic to Regulate Parking and Turns On or Near Summit Street

WHEREAS, the purpose of this ordinance is to b= etter regulate traffic in the best interests of the citizens and motorists in the Borough of Norwood on or near Summit Street.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINEDSection 1: Schedule I, Section 222-32 of Chapter 222 of the Code of the Borough of Norwood, which lists the locations where parking is prohibited at any time, is amended to revise the references to S= ummit Street to state the following:

Name of Street &= nbsp; Side Location=

Summit Street East Between Bro= adway and South Street and from the northerly = &nb= sp; = &nb= sp; = curbline of Blanch = Avenue to a point 300 feet north of that curbline.

Summit Street West From the north side of South=

&= nbsp; Street to the so= uth side of Broadway and from the northerly curbline of Blanch Avenue to a point 300 feet n= orth of that curbline.

&= nbsp; Section 2: Schedule II, Section 2= 22-33 of Chapter 222 of the Code of the Borough of Norwood, which lists the locat= ions where parking is prohibited at certain times, is amended to add a reference= to Summit Street stating the following:

Name of Street &= nbsp; Side Hours = Location

Summit Street East &= nbsp; 7:30 a.m. From So= uth

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; to 3:30 p.m., Street to Blanch

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; Monday Avenue

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; through Friday

Section 3: Schedule XII= IA, Section 222-44 of Chapter 222 of the Code of the Borough of Norwood, which lists the locations where left turns are prohibited parking, is amended to = add the following references:

Name of Street &= nbsp; Side Location=

Summit Street West Exit and en= trance to and from = &= nbsp; &= nbsp; Norwood Public School

7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Summit Street East In and out = of South Street, 7:30

a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Frida= y.

Summit Street East&nbs= p; Exit and entrance to and from

&= nbsp; &nbs= p; &= nbsp; the driveway of the church

parking lot, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mo= nday through Friday.

Summit Street East Exit and en= trance from and

to the library parking lot, 7:30 a.m. t= o 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Section 4: All ordinanc= es or parts of ordinances that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordin= ance are hereby repealed, but only to the extent of any inconsistencies.

Section 5: The provisio= ns of this ordinance are severable. If any part or parts of this ordinance is or are declared to be unconstitution= al or invalid by any court, then the remaining parts of this ordinance will re= main in full force and effect.

Section 6: This ordinan= ce shall take effect upon final approval and publication according to law.
