ORDINANCE 03:05

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF ANNUAL FEES FOR LIQUOR LICENSES PROVIDED IN THE

CODE OF THE BOROUGH CHAPTER 77 SECTION E (1)

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Norwood that the following annual fees for liquor licenses provided by the Borough of Norwood in the Office of the Borough Clerk pursuant to statutory authority and existing ordinances.

 

SECTION E (1) LICENSE FEES; Maximum Number. The annual fees of licenses for the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages in the Borough shall be as follows:

 

A.  The annual fee for a “Plenary Retail Consumption License” for the following                 

      years shall be as follows:

                        Annual Fee                  Maximum Number

            2004            $1,538.00                    7

            2005            $1,846.00                    7

            2006            $2,000.00                    7

 

B.  The annual license fee for a “Plenary Retail Distribution License” for the                                                                                                             

      following years shall be as follows:

                        Annual Fee                  Maximum Number

            2004            $1,284.00                    1

            2005            $1,540.00                    1

            2006            $1,850.00                    1

 

C.  The annual fee for a “Club License” for the following years is $150.00.

 

SECTION 2:  Fees are subject to change and the Mayor and Council reserve the right to do so.  Where necessary, this ordinance shall be construed in the manner, which shall render it valid and constitutional.  If for any reason any section or any part of a section or provision of this ordinance shall be judged unconstitutional or invalid,  such judgment shall not be held to affect other sections.

 

SECTION 3: All ordinance or part ordinances, including Ordinance 97:08 and 01:03 inconsistent herewith, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistencies.

 

SECTION 4:  This Ordinance shall take effect immediately after passage and publication according to law.
