John A Nicolai
John Nicolai resides
at 101 Millbrook Circle with wife Geraldine (Married
5/23/92), daughters Giulia, Lorena and senior In-Law
parents; Onorina & Igino Savino. Fluent in Italian.

of 25 years in the field of Qualified Retirement
Plans, John has worked with Actuarial firms
providing Compliance servicing, more recently as the
Principal of Norwood Retirement Advisors LLC and is
a current Board Member of the American Society of
Pension Professionals and Actuaries – Actuarial
Benefits Council of NY.
John is a Sensei (4th
Dan) and Referee of Kimura Shukokai International
Karate, a Chaplain with the US Marine Corps League
MODD-NJ#136, Chief Director of Advanced Firearms
Training & Qualification Institute LLC and volunteer
coaches handicapped kids, JROTC and Civil Air Patrol
Cadets in rifle instruction. He is a former Officer
of the ANJRPC and the Tenafly Italian Society.
After growing up in
Tenafly, John received an Honorable Discharge from
the United States Marine Corps on 1/27/84, graduated
from James Madison University with a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree in Economics in 1985
and, along with his family, are covenant members of
Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Fairlawn.
As an F-Licensed
Soccer Coach, John brings useful experience to
working with the Recreation Department, his respect
for nature conservancy will prove to be a prudent
and wise steward of our Public Works resources and
his conservative financial background will play an
important and positive role in guiding Norwood
through its economic future.
